In just one Forum, Webmaster World never highlights new messages

I currently visit 6 forums. When I visit the top page in a Forum, the threads with new messages have the dot indicating which threads have new messages since I last reset the pointer.
"MSN Search" never does.
Not that it is the end of the world. I can always look at the time the last message was posted in the top few threads.
