How long do posts normally sit in the Google Search News moderation queue?

Google quietly launched a small but significant new search feature last Friday whilst everyone was at Pubcon. I posted about it then (I guess the mods were all at Pubcon) but it's still sat awaiting mod :(

How long depends on when and who's around. Just stickymail the forum Mods and whichever Admins you think may happen to be around at the time so they'll take a look, if it's an important issue. Give the thread title you posted so it's easy to find - unless it's HELPPP MEEEEEEE, PLZ! Lotsa luck with that one. ;)

Sure, of course people may be out of town at any time - or maybe they're even at their local library or market, or out doing the mall (like all respectable women are supposed to do on a regular basis, for example). :)

It isn't worth getting strung out about, no matter how critical at the moment; most things will look different to us if we think about how important they'll seem six or eight monts down the road. But for *really* hot items the safe bet, imho, is to grab hold of a likely suspect from among Mods & Admins.
