OK, you'd think by now I'd have figured this out, but I haven't.

What's the deal with the Sent Messages section? Is it turned off by default, if so how do I turn it on?

I can't find anything when I click on the Sent link. What am I doing wrong?

I've wondered about this forever too; just never asked. Always afraid the answer so simple that I would exceed my looking stupid limit.

No problem, you can borrow some of mine. I buy it by the truck load, at wholesale of course!

When you send a message, there's a checkbox below the text area that says "Place a backup copy in outbox folder?" -- that's what places mail into the "Sent" folder. Yes, there's some labeling confusion in that mix, and yes, the default is for the checkbox to be unchecked -- but once you check it, that state should be remembered.
