Where is everyone? the bar? Bourbon Street? The pool? I am tempted to do all three *grin*

ok well the choice just got easier - the pool is closed until 7am Tuesday!

Oh yeah, I noticed the pool was empty! I had a burger down stairs... YUCK. Need to find someplace with better food. Not sure I want to walk around outside by myself though. Allready had a nice chat outside with a gentlemen in hospital clothes that was looking for the drugstore. Was complaining that they were making him walk with his bad leg to go get his perkiden. Told him I thought the drugstore was right around the next corner and he moved on. lolol Not sure he wasn't an escapee!

As I recall from a prior trip, the Hard Rock burgers were more than passable fare, and not far off B street.
That's not really my idea of dining out in Nawlins, but as I was a tagalong with 4 busloads of students, I dinna have a shot at winning any majority votes on that trip.

I recommend cafe Maspero at the corner of Decatur and Toulouse (in the French quarter) - they have burgers on the menu as well as more traditional fare. Weak daquiris for $1 ;-) Great food, fast service and cheap prices ;-)
