New Posts indicator in header borders?

Maybe I'm just nuts....

I just noticed that when I reset the last read pointers that the top and bottom borders on the header went from thick to thin. Is this a new feature, a bug, or an illusion....

Just tested some forums I never read. The effect seems to vary depending on the forum. Some showed no change, one actually got thicker.

Border thickness appears to depend on the ad height ...

And the pastel border colour ... is there a woman's touch behind the scenes?

Ah, it does seem to be ad related. Bigger ad, thinner borders, etc. A simple refresh gives the same kind of results.
