The last few days this forum has taken ages to load pages. Is it just me, or has WW fallen down a treacle mine?

It's still in turbo mode for me. Perhaps there's a router down between WebmasterWorld and your service provider?

Very slow here too in the UK for the last few days. So painfully slow that I have tended to give up.
Ping times aren't too bad so I assumed it was due to abnormally high load?

The common theme here is that all that say it is slow are setting on this server:

Yep you're right Brett.
I've just connected to webmasterworld via the Cambrige University network instead of the previous ntl broadband link, and all appears to be fine.

I agree - no other websites have appeared to load slowly on ntl...
Although if you try to visit westhost.com, that is extremely slow as well (as you might expect!).

People on Comcast in the US or Canada had problems with net slowdown last week, due to DNS poisoning on a wide scale. This issue is only going to get worse until ISPs patch their systems for these known vulnerabilities.

This connection problem is becoming a pain in the a*se
Does anyone here have a sensible answer to this infernal problem?
I have no problem accessing any other sites anywhere!

UK here too, but on a BT line.
Only Webmasterworld is slow, no other sites having the same problem.
