URL Drops... Are there more of these happening?

Or is it just my perception?

This is not a complaint, just a question.

Are URL drops happening more often around here? Or is it just my perception?

This has got to be driving the mods and admins up a wall..... or to the bar!

( Maybe I'm just opening the wrong threads.... )

cmatcme-

We classify "URL Drops" as URLs that violate the WebmasterWorld Terms of Service [webmasterworld.com].

I think some URL drop in an attempt to get visitors or page rank. Others are just clueless, but I'll bet many do it because it's easier than thinking a question through to the point of 'widgetizing' it.

Isn't url dropping just providing urls to certain pages?

I thought it was.

-------------- added ----------------

SELF PROMOTIONAL url drops

seems to imply that a url drop is posting a url.

Just a thought :)
