in case this isn't a known bug, when I post a reply the redirect page that comes up always references the wrong forum, the posts always go to the right forum and thread but it frightens me every time into thinking I made some sort of stupid mistake, please ignore this if it's well known...

I'm not too sure if it will help, but have you tried clearing your cache?

I've seen it do that too, mostly when I'm posting in Foo. It always references the same (incorrect) forum, only I can't remember it off the top of my head. After the first couple of times, I forgot about it because it always posted to the right forum anyway.

It's not cache or cookie related, as I've had it happen on my old computer and my new computer.

Yep, that's a teeny little bug that you'll see now and then. No harm. ;)

It is a known bug - that I have never been able to reproduce.

this is the one that displays for me regardless of the computer I use. I am typing from a brand new computer and never visit the topic listed... it doesn't even exist!
