Mark Old Messages As Read

Which is fine, but where can you Show New Messages?

While exploring Webmaster World we accidentally stumbled across a hyperlink entitled "Mark Old Messages As Read". The question is, how do we display a list of "New Messages" since our last visit?

PS: Sadly we've not been able to find the "Mark Old Messages As Read" link again *sigh*

trees,

You can "reset last read pointers" from the forums index page: [webmasterworld.com...] using the link just underneath the top banner.

This will mark any messages posted up until that time of pressing, read. Un-read messages show up (on the thread page) with the date/time in bold and a little red dot reading new.

You can also reset the last read pointers in individual forums, if you were following a particular forum closely.

Hope this helps,
