It's often struck me that SEOs and webmasters in general have quite skewed priorities for what makes a search engine good. Usually it's largely centred around 'the one that lists me top' and 'the one that sends me most traffic' but sometimes goes further to 'I like the layout' or 'it gives the most responses for the word 'the'.
