Webmaster World's Favicon not transparent

All the other sites icons are? :-(

I think it's a small touch that would be noticed by those like me who appreciate the fine details. :-)

I'm even willing to do it myself...

I know we can't post links (I guess) so who could I send a msg to with a url to a decently touched up version of the favicon?

favicon is handled a bit differently in all the browsers. Test it in opera, moz, firefox, and the couple of mac browsers that support it and let us know if it works in all ;)

It's not transparent in my Opera, Moz, or Firefox.

JAB, yes it does, but a generic blue gel-like icon shows up for web sites that do not have a favicon. That is what I get on this site.... the generic favicon....

Safari must have a certain preference as far as resolution, color depth, or other aspects about favicons.

Here's an odd question that might help...

Can you place websites as shortcuts on your MAC desktop or in your launch bar at the bottom? If so with magnification I would assume that MAC browsers block low res icons?

Something interesting to ponder ...

My uncle is a MAC fanatic and I'd like to get one *just* for cross OS testing.
