I have started using an RSS reader for all my various RSS's I try and keep track of. However today I started getting an error on WebmasterWorld :( It seems to have an issue with the – in post that made it to the main page. Is anyone else experincing errors like this? When I ran it through an RRS Validator [feedvalidator.org] it came back with that error plus a few warnings it would seem. Again I was just wonderinf if anyone else has exprienced this type of error. I have had it happen on other RSS feeds as well normally because of ' in words.

I use FeedDemon and Opera for most of my feed reading and haven't had any issues with the WebmasterWorld feed. It might just be your aggregator.

There are a couple of known character entity errors that I have never taken the time to look at fixing. After running the rss feed for 2 (?) years now, this is the first time anyone (other than Xoc) has noticed it. Most aggrregators accept the occasional error...

I was wrong on thinking I wouldnt get any updates. If the page is updated again I will get the new post but the one with the error never shows up. Guess I just got a picky aggregator. I figure I can live with it.

I'm getting a syntax error on line 49 when I try to Validate [feedvalidator.org...]

Means nothing to me, but might make sense to someone who understands this stuff.

Brett, I think you can fix that error by adding a CDATA [w3schools.com] section in your <description>, <title> and <link> elements and placing all the content within it.

And also, you can fix the mime-type [webmasterworld.com] so it doesn't cause any errors in some parsers.

WebmasterWorld RSS feed do not working on Opera. I'm using Opera 7.51.

Also, do You have more feeds (I know only index.rss and active.rss)?

It's working when I've added newsfeeds manually.
So problem was fixed.
