Resigning as Moderator - it's been a fun ride, but...

I've been a member of WebmasterWorld for nearly 4 years, almost from the very beginnings, and a Moderator for close to that; in fact I was mod of Commercial Exchange and this forum both when they started. I was an Admin for over 3 years and have been Moderator of the Google News forum, which I love dearly, for just about that long, too.

But there comes a time when the time has come. It's been great, it's been fun and I've loved it. But the time has come to resign as a WebmasterWorld Moderator.

I'll still participate of course, it's a great community with a lot of the most wonderful people I've had the honor and pleasure of meeting.

I sensed this from some of your past posts and wondered when it would happen. Happens to most active volunteers and knowing when to time out is better than getting burnt out.

I can't believe that you won't be moderating any more. You were like the mother-figure of the mods (firm but fair and always encouraging) and I'll miss your contributions. Thanks for all your hard work and tolerance and best of luck for the future.
