So - I travel, I use different machines, and I look at WebmasterWorld. And sometimes I see a topic I could contribute to, but need to login.

And, after clicking "login" I go to that page that says "welcome Sanenet - go to frontpage,....". And so I need to retrace my steps to find out where I was before. And since I'm useless I sometimes can't find where I was before :)

So: How about a function where if I click "login" from a thread I automatically go back to that thread after logging in? Not difficult, but a great time saver for us and for your bandwidth Brett!

Why not send yourself a stickmail with the page you were last on?

More than anything it's an attempt to save having to retrace my steps (cutting out between 2 and 6 clicks) everytime I login.

Good point Sananet. I've often been annoyed at this myself.

engine, you're kidding right? Even if you could use sticky's as a guest, that would be even more clicks than retracing your steps.

You could just always login first whenever you come to the site. :)
