Hey,

I don't know if this is the proper place to post some questions, so sry if it isn't. By the way, I have skimmed through the help files

1. How do you search for a member? How would I go about seeing every post a member has ever made?

2. I see beside names they sort of have a ranking like, prefered member, junior member, senior member, etc. My question is, what are the different levels, and what do you have to do to get to each one?

Thanks,

C.K.

1. There is an old post here about customising your page to show a Google search box at the top of each page. Not a drama if you have the Google toolbar because both do the same Search Site function. You won't be able to find 100% of someone's posts, just the ones seen by Google. The internal site search is less omniscient.

2. Ranks - FAQ. Short answer is that in certain forums - not in the Local or Supporters categories - your posts are counted and after certain cutoff points you get promoted. These numbers change from time to time.

I think it uses a bit much room. Plus, as a tabbed browser user, I prefer to search in a different page. Here is a simple line you can add at top of bottom of every pages. Go control pannel/System Preferences and paste this in one of the bottom "Custom Code" fields.
