Hello, everyone:)
I'm new here.

I have some questions regarding sticky mail.

To receive sticky mail:

Q. 1. Do I have to set the fields
in the preferences when receiveing sticky mail to a certain amount of days so it doesn't delete the messages?

Or can I just leave it as it is with nothing in the box?

(all expirations blank and all delete fields blank)

Ex.(number of days blank box)

Q. 2. To recieve sticky mail do I have to set anything to start receiving sticky mail?

I ask these questions because I sent a sticky mail, and I selected a checkbox at the bottom that said if I wanted a "backup copy". And then at the top of the page it said "Autopurge" and that one of my messages was purged.(to my outbox I think. But I can't find an outbox.) It also said that I should change something, but I don't remember what it was.

Q. 3. What happened and what does this mean? Did I do something wrong?

I'm not clear on this. Again, I'm new here and I apoligize. These might be dumb questions but just want to be sure.

Can anyone help me please?

Thank you to all.

>delete

only counts for trashcan

2: nope

> purge

Purge only affects the trashcan. If you have set at "0" or blank, then the trashcan feature will not be used. Thus if you check at the bottom of the compose screen:

"Move original email to trash can on successful send?"

Then the original email it will be "purged" instantly when you finish replying if you don't have the trashcan enabled.
