Anchor's for posts?

I think it would pretty useful to add an anchor to each post, so you can link direct to a post as opposed to a thread/page of a thread. Especially when referencing quality posts in amongst the 'chaff'.

When you hit "Submit" to send a reply, the URL you're redirected to includes an anchor reference for your message at the end, such as #msg5, but it doesn't seem to point to anything. Perhaps the anchors were once there but have since been removed?

We want people involved in discussions, not minutia. It's about community, conversation and the whole meal. It isn't about fries vs chips or fm vs am. When people come into a site, we want them coming into get involved in discussions and not just minutia.
