Brett made some suggestions on how to get things working the first time around but nothing helped - hence the second sign up. That then stopped working so he emailed Brett again but no reply (fair enough - I know he must be busy). His third attempt to join hasn't worked either.
The problem is that every time he tries to log-in he is just returned to the log-in screen.
The weird thing is that the two of us are on the same network and my login works from all the machines he has tried. In other words, the problem does not appear to be at this end.
I can still access his profile (from his second, temporarily successful sign-up) and there is nothing there to indicate why it would now have stopped working.
He's an almost decent person :) who's learning lots from this forum (which helps me) so I'd liked to get this fixed as much as he does.
Naturally, I can sticky his details to a mod or admin if they can try to help. I'd reeaaaly appreciate it.
