I'm cringing as I write this but I just joined up through Paypal. I wouldn't be stressing (because I know Brett can take some time to get to each subscription, which is fine) but I didn't get a confirmation email from Paypal so I'm sort of sitting here in the dark. Can anyone turn the lights back on?

I made a paypal payment today. But, no access to supporter's forum yet. How long do I need to wait to get the access to supporter's forum?
Is this done manually? I wonder why the access is not granted immediately. This is a very frustrating experience.

Different between nicknames as used by the board, and real names as used by the payment processors. Think about, there are several dozen possibilities between those that already have accounts, those that need to register, those that have subscribed that don't have accounts, and those that do. The is by far-n-away the easiest and more reliable method for all concerned.
