anyone else have trouble when checking out?

Made reservations early on. Got a confirmation for just under $308 (total) for 4 nights. They tried to bill me $349 when I checked out today. I protested. Then they took off $20 they overcharged for the last night. I still protested. Then they took off the $2.75 per night for phone access. I left happy but didn't think I should have to fight to get the bill adjusted to the confirmation price.

BTW, I got a case of the GIs after I left the Bar yesterday afternoon. Was able to drive home without incident, but I feel like I've been worked over with a meat tenderizer. Anyone else get sick?

Hey Lawman. I heard about major rate discrepancies with quoted/booking rates, some double others, especially with the adjacent EconoLodge. I stayed next door at Quality Suites, got a king suite for less than any I heard about at the Clarion or the EconoLodge and checked out early this morning with no add-ons and everything as originally confirmed.

Didn't go near the hotel bar yesterday since I pretty well filled up at O'Grady's, so can't give you any feedback there.

No sunburn, thank goodness. I'd hate to be sick AND have a sunburn. :)
