We're waiting...

I thought I would post this thread as I have seen many people posting requests to get an offical Yahoo!Guy. I think it would be great to have an official voice at WW. Now with Yahoo! having their own SERPS and including new features and some yet to come things are gonna get crazy in here.

If Tim wants the job so be it but I think a name like Yahoo!Guy members will just know...

Maybe Yahoo!Girl?

I think you should go with Tim or Tim_LastNameHere.

...if you are going to post as yourself, and not as a CorporateCollective.

Alternatively, I'd be willing to sell you jcoronella.

Just "Tim" can be mighty. Doesn't anyone remember the wizard from Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

Tim is simply just great!

It is low profile, not ostentatious, and after all said and done most of us don't want to tear him limb from limb in retribution for what his company has done!

Tim, and Yahoo are doing a great job IMHO.....I like the personal approach at WW, let's leave it that way :)

Gut check, Tim. Who are you?

My vote: Go for it. Brand yourself, now!. People will tell you to be yourself. Yet, to us, you are larger than that. You are Y! on WW.

You did it yourself ~ carry the rest out now.

And Lead.

I don't really care what the nick is. If GG's nick was 'TheGoogleCriticsStopper', I'd still respect him as I do now :)

'Tim' is great. No need to change a thing IMO.

It was kinda funny a week or two ago to see some newbie challenging Tim's knowledge of Yahoo.

Tim's been hanging out here for a while... a lot more, I think, than his Junior status suggests. He's been more active here of late than usual. Considering his senior position, though, I can't imagine how he can be as active as GoogleGuy.
