Hello,

I have beeen trying to access webmasterworld since yesterday. I keep getting a dns error. nslookup shows that the host and domain name is not found. Right now I am using a proxy to surf anonymously in which I can access these forums.

Can someone help me? I run my own dns servers and and have flushed the cache, but still no go. I also ran Search and Destroy and nothing was found. I am wondering if my IP has been banned for some reason, even though I have no idea why.

Thanks

lukasz

For me it looked like WW was down for 1 hour.
But the post is funny.
If you cannot access WW how can you post on it?

I am currently using an anonymous proxy. I don't know where it is located so location might have something to do with it. I am in Minnesots in the US. I have everything disabled through the proxy accept cookies.

I just did a lookup on the proxy server I am using. It is located in New York. I am located in Miniieapolis. Obviously the New York location can access this site, but I can't.

Any Ideas?

Yeah, I've been having the same problem on and off since yesterday.

Nice to see this does happen to sites other than mine. ;)

OKay!

Yippee, I just tried an nslookup again and it seems I am up and running. Don't know what the problem was, but it seems to be fixed now.

This is much better. Anyone else been having problems lately?

WestHost had some sort of routing issue yesterday afternoon (and I'm assuming this morning as well). Sites started coming back up (or at least being accessible to everybody) just a little while ago.

Thanks,

It seems that the problem was not on my end. That is a relief because I get kinda paranoid about cache pollution and such. :)
