This probably will get moved to the Community Center, but my favorite is Website Technology Issues. There's a lot of good questions about different platforms and approaches that are asked, without going into specific coding detail, and leads to some good discussion.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Community Center? Was that at the bottom of the page?

Website Technology Issues? Will have to check that area out.

Thanks for the welcome :)

I like the Supporters Forum, where all the good stuff goes down ;) Other than that I enjoy the Google and alternative search engines!

Yes, the WebmasterWorld Community Center [webmasterworld.com] is towards the bottom of the homepage, under the "Local" section.

Generally, posts like yours about issues related to the board go there, or get moved there. It's a great forum to check out if you have any questions about the operation of the board, or how a specific board feature may work.

As bcolflesh mentioned, Foo is a very friendly forum as well. If you'd like in-depth descriptions of forum topics, check out the "Charter" link, available at the top right of every forum index page directly below the title of the forum.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld TanyaMartin!

I personally hang out in many of The Webmaster World forums as well as the Private Forums. But then I'm a geek - pure and simple. :)

I'm generally in Ecommerce, Content, and Supporters' forums ... but I'll also venture occasionally into SEM Research and Professional Webmaster Business Issues.

:)

You'll find that some of the forums "cross-over" more than others. There are some folks around here who are fabulous contributors - and I hardly ever see their posts because I don't read those particular forums (because if I did read them I wouldn't understand them!).
