One year later....

Has it really been that long?

One year ago today I joined the WebmasterWorld community. I first found it as a result of a Google query on some CSS topic that's now long forgotten.

Since that time I've gotten a wealth of information (and amusement--often in the same posts) from the folks here, and I've been privileged enough to pass some of that along to others here who were newer than I. I've created three new web sites in the time I've been here, two of which are PR4 and rank in the top five for their niche (usually at #1)--the third one is on its way--all because of what I've read in the forums.

I spend at least an hour a day here, and I've got a list of flagged posts a mile long. There are a number of people whose posts are required reading whenever I see their nick: digitalghost, Nick_W, SuzyUK, Shak, and many others (whatever happened to papabaer?).

Thank you to everyone who has shared their knowledge. Thanks to the mods and admins for the many hours they spend to make it look like this place runs itself. And finally, thanks to Brett for making it all possible.

Actually, Nick, I'm working on getting sort of a CSS laboratory put together at my web site at <just kidding>*. I am thinking about a few topics, one of which I may post in the next week or so.

I've got a ways to go still before I'll come up with any tutorials as useful as yours though.

*After a year, I know better than that. :)
