The expression i'm thinking about is the Danish "1000 Tak". It's quite common in Danish, and it means "thanks a lot" or actually "thanks a thousand".

I recently posted my post #1,000 in the very [webmasterworld.com] same [webmasterworld.com] thread [webmasterworld.com] that made me discover WebmasterWorld in the first place. That's amazing; not many forums can keep a thread like that going with highly relevant, expert level discussion on a technical subject - and it continues to stay on topic :) It's not only that thread; tons of posts are published daily throughout the whole of WebmasterWorld and most, if not all, are of a very high standard. I've learned a great deal here and i hope i've also posted one or two bits of relevant knowledge in the process.

Thanks "a thousand" to Brett, admins, mods, and all members who keep sharing knowledge. Also thanks a lot to all the newbies who keep posting information - it's often a lot more valuable than you think.

Time to get back to work now. Keep it up ;)

Don't translate well?

German: Tausend Dank!
Italian: Grazie mille!
French: Merci mille fois!

Interesting. In American English it's, "Thanks a million!"

Yes, thanks Brett. The site is great for both hard technical topics ("how do I do this?") and non-technical, "theoretical" topics ("should I do this?").
