Webmaster World is blessed by the friendly and helpful GoogleGuy and AdWordsAdvisor.

However, my recollection is that AWA has humbly bowed out of AdSense discussions because he doesn't have direct knowledge in this area, and I also don't remember seeing GG participate in any AdSense related discussions.

So basically, I'm curious to know if ANY folks from Google are reading our AdSense related comments. My understanding is that Google is strapped extremely thin right now, and so I can sympathize with Corporate not wanting to have too many folks spending their time answering questions in online forums. But I do hope that at least someone at Google is at least occasionally checking this AdSense forum for feedback and concerns.

GoogleGuy participates at WebmasterWorld on his own time, not on "company" time. He has participated in a few threads here and there in the AdSense forum.

I am guessing that reps from Google do check out the forum from time to time, but do not post in any official capacity. As always, the quickest route to letting the AdSense team know there is a problem is simply by using the [google.com...]

You could end up waiting a while if you are depending on this forum to alert the AdSense team to any particular problem ;)

Jenstar, your points are well-taken!

And indeed, I've made a habit of sending polite notes via various Google feedback forms, and have always been impressed and pleased to receive responses from Google showing that my notes were actually read by a human ;)

Yes, when we had that spat over "related searches" Google certainly read it and posted here.

My guess would be that Google are concerned about the general rather than site related issues. Most of the discussions on this board tend to be specific when looked at objectively, which Google may feel are best answered by privately email from the webmaster.

As Jenstar says, they are very good at answering emails, so one can have no beef there

I am not altogether convinced that GoogleGuy is doing it in his spare time ;)

Trust me, it's spare time. :) I try to stop by the AdSense forum from time to time. Mostly it seems like people are doing a great job answering each others questions, but I know that a few regular Googlers try to browse every so often to look for suggestions and feedback too. :)

> However, my recollection

Not sure what you are referring to there, but he has left many posts in the last 24hrs.
