yeah PubCon was cool, but i was very dissapointed that by the time it reached 9pm me and the 4 others still there were echoing through a pub!Missed out on some very very "interesting" conversations i must say.
We'd already taken up positions in the hotel bar by then ;-) There were a lot of 'joe public' turning up in the Cittie so a lot of people fled back to the relative safety of the Thistle *g*
But yeah, the whole thing was great. Big greets out to Ciprian (you didn't make it to the hotel bar :-(), Caroline, Ian, Bit, Stuart, Canadian Paul, and Warren Duff who gracefully put up with my lighthearted anti-Australian jibing *g*.. and, crumbs, probably another ten people I got to know during the day (although I barely scratched 10% of everyone there).
Next time I'll take a full week, as it seems you need more time every following Pubcon to speak to everyone.
In general it was interesting that people are moving up the food chain or more and more only doing SEO if they own the site/traffic.
