Is there anybody except me interrested in enjoying the London nightlife on friday evening? Maybe going to a club/disco? I don't know any locations in London, but I'd really like to get an impression of London by night.

Hmmm...

I'd hang out in the lobby. Much better conversations going on there anyway!

Other than that, you have me stumped!

What kind of music do you like? So many clubs in London need to narrow it down for you a bit!

More a bar person myself these days though.

Its not hard to find a club in London just walk in a pub and suprise a club in the cellar. Finding a good one is more difficult and I will check it out for you.

I just thought it might be simpler to get to know some people without all the SE stuff, just having fun ... but I see, SEs are (mostly) fun, too. :) Ok, I'm a total PubCon newbie and curious how it works ... ;)

Nevertheless, if somebody wants to join, it would be nice. I think a good mixture of music (charts, hip hop, house, ...) would be the best because it's something almost everybody likes ...

Tips include:
Mayfair Club, Elysium and Chinawhite is all good, Cafe de Paris have some beautiful women (Not all the time though).
Not sure how expensive it is in germany, but you quite easily blow everything from 100-500£ without actually getting a lot for it.

Cafe de Paris have some beautiful women

17-22 years old preferred ... ;)

I think the best solution is to ask around on friday afternoon, but I hope I won't be alone. :)

Uh don't think so, don't think i've ever seen women under 21-22 there, don't know what the age limit would be, think it's around 21, no chance you can just trip in there with your mates (Unless they are known by the owner) without having booked or placed your name on the guestlist days before.

I will save my money until the week after :D
Then it's London Fashion week, says it all :)
Heidi Klum we're still on?

Ok, I'll stay longer. :)

21 is ok. Do you know the owner or are you on the guestlist? Maybe you could add all PubCon attendees? :)

I know the owner :-)

Not sure they would be too thrilled with us all though!

Shak, over here in Germany most clubs are 18+, but if you're a girl and look very good you can go in even if you're 16.

I'm 20, so 17-22 is really my target. ;) But if there are no chicks in London at night I'll probably stay at the bar...

But if there are no chicks in London at night

They'll all be in bed on Friday saving themselves for PubCon the next day! ;)

Isn't that right? I haven't been before...

I think a 21+ policy is only really there to make it that bit harder for under 18's to try it on. If you really are over 18 it shouldn't be a problem.

Caine's the man to talk to. He took me clubbing at London pubcon last year and saw some great dj's (tiesto, tall paul) and plenty of eye candy..

Elysium is good, we went there for a leaving do and had a good time.

Music is not too bad, some old stuff and new.

I'd still say the hotel would be a better bet, you'll have the rest of the year to party and ogle women, but only one chance this year to pick the brains of some smart people.
