From not listed to #1 in almost every keyword

This forum is fantastic. I developed a web-application for an online game that allows teams to manage their stats etc.. It was more of a programming project but turned into a full blown service.

Anyway, my rank was terrible in the search engines, so I decided to start reading up around here. With a few optimizations based on what I read here, my site is now #1 in my most important keywords, and no more than #5 in other less important areas.

I wish I did this when the game was more popular before, the game is coming to the end of its lifecycle. However the experience I got from optimizing it is well worth it.

One point that comes out of Sharbel's post to me is that SEO can be learned fast and to a large extent the basic principles, intelligently applied to your own situation in a DIY way, are all that are needed in possibly 90% to 95% of cases.

Its really great to read posts like this and i am very happpy for Sharbel and those who have helped him/her.

i would like to thank to all seo people that do make time and effort in posting info here. i have been user on this webiste for couple of years and until last month never posted anything since all i was doing coming here and reading. (i am not even half way there yet )

Anyway what i want to say is that my company website is number 2 on most search engines in main keyword and that is only because of you guys and this website.

so from the bottom of my heart thank you for keeping my brain running and this part of web very interesting.
