Me too! It was very odd without it. How were we to know when to welcome someone?

Strange! Like Birdman, something felt wrong about the lack of postcount! And I also agree that postcount has a very valuable role in the whole WebmasterWorld welcoming policy - a policy I've not seen on any other board.

Birdman - yours is the first post I've seen on the "Pro post count" side that isn't subjective though I suppose could create "NEWBIE" flag for those first timers - though that may prevent some from posting.

"though that may prevent some from posting. "

People who are new to the forums should not be intimidated by people with a large post count. What I mean is members should take each and every post with a pinch of salt. What I have learnt here is that every piece of information here is valuable and unless you try it then you will never know if it could be of use. Of course we all respect and trust the advice of people who have been here a long time eg. Brett, Nick_W, etc.........but all I am saying is that if new members feel they can contibute then they should.

Anyway a bit more onto subject, it does feel a bit more comfortable with the post count back....hehe:) I am pro post count frankly

Well, I really hope I'm not going to intimidate anyone by racking up my post count to 999 with this one... ;)
