Don't know what Brett thinks about it, but there is certainly a shorthand of commonly used terms within the forums, amongst regulars.

I'll start.

G = Google
ATW = AllTheWeb
F = Fast
OV = Overture
Y! = Yahoo
T! = Teoma
AJ = Ask Jeeves
Es = Espotting
FW = Findwhat
ROI = Return on Investment

ODPSS : Acronym, colloquial: Open Directory Project Suicide Syndrome. Term applied to, ususualy abusive, editors who are rude/insulting in a forum thread that eventually leads to their resignation / firing.
