I was going through the threads and suddenly saw in the top right advertisement that "GnomeDex sponsored in part by: Webmaster World [gnomedex.com]".. So what is GnomeDex?

From the GnomeDex site.... On July 25th and 26th, we're doing it again - Gnomedex 3.0: Fellowship of the Geeks! ..........

What is this? A weekend-long geek-a-thon! For the past two years, Gnomedexers have represented a wide range of professions. In 2002, about 500 attendees made the trek to Iowa: IT professionals, software developers, various company owners / managers, and technology enthusiasts. Despite their varied backgrounds, Gnomedex attendees have always shared a common link - the love for technology and the quest for more knowledge.

Tell me about GnomeDex and what makes it what it is. I see there will be some serious geeks there including a TBA speech from Google :D O'reilly guys, MS guys, and Devorak guy.

The past years, assuming people here have gone what has it been like, what kind of experience? Im always up for something new :D

Well, being put on by Chris (LockerGnome) Pirillo and company - so you know it's going to be quality stuff. It's also in my proverbial back yard. It also has Rob Malda speaking (a rarity). At $99, it is reasonably priced and liquid refreshment is heard to flow freely at these things.
