Will be hosting Saturday (time as yet undetermined) and would like to look over some of the older ones.

Does the Gizmo Quiz have to be image related?

Can the host select any form of quiz material (say, similar to your first quiz)? (Within established parameters, of coure.)

Something a bit more than...."What is it?"

Hi pendanticist,

Most of the past games are based on images. But as you mention, the first one wasn't. I remember the sputnik Quiz used a sound instead of an image.

I dont read anything in the rules forcing anyone to use images. I read "It must be about some gizmo." So I believe the game can evolve in many forms.

coconutz, thanks for sorting it all out. If I have time, I will finish linking the games from the Official Gizmo Quiz scoreboard [vif.com].

pendanticist we have evolved it into a picture that is available through google image search. Doesn't mean you have to do that, but if it is not in google image search it would be good to know. Funny pictures are always a crowd pleaser. If you think your gizmo is easy it will take all day to solve. If you think it is hard you will have it solved in a few messages. Oh and watch out for the sticky requests for hints, you know who you are. ;)
