The conference itself is on Saturday, April 26th, with the timing for the day set out in the Conference Schedule [semconf.com]. Ouch! 8AM is like 5AM to me Pacific Time, that's generally bedtime. ;)

This will be my first one, with choice of flights still available - red-eye special arriving Boston either late morning Wednesday or Thursday. Departure is either Sunday or Monday - much better deal Monday.

I'm wondering if there's anything doing during the days beforehand. It's my first time, I'm trying to decide between Wednesday or Thursday arrival.

Then what about Sunday? Enough to keep busy with to stay the extra day?

Get there as early as you can, leave as late as you can.

As for time forget all preconceptions, you are about to enter another dimension. :)

No problem Shak. If I remember correctly you have spend quite a great deal of time in this part of the World, yes?

Oh and yes, the ship is being preparred right now and will arrive in the harbour Saturday evening. Have some things to take off of down south first - will be in Boston Wednesday late afternone.

Be aware and look out for guys wearing funny helmets with pointy horns. Don't mess with 'em though ;)
