Submitting URLs Manually to French Search Engines

How to manually submit urls to French search engines

I would like to be able to manually submit some urls for a client who wants to make some headway in the French Search Engines.

But, I have been unsuccessful so far in trying to find a URL submission page on Yahoo.fr, Voila.fr and Wanadoo.fr.

Does anyone have any advice as to how I could manually submit to the SE's? It would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the category you want to have your site listed in, click "proposer un site". Just like you would submit to Yahoo US.

As far as I know, submissions to Voila/Wanadoo go the same place and will get you into both. Have to check with our french members though.

Hello Rumbas. Your advice for submitting to Yahoo France was great. It was a big help. But, I followed the links you posted for both Voila and Wanadoo and I was not able to submit to those...

It looks like Voila only charges for submissions even though they have some different options listed there on the page (I translated the page into English). And, the link you posted that leads to Wanadoo seems like just an info/help page. I wasn't able to find any information about actually submitting urls to Wanadoo.

Do you know if Voila and/or Wanadoo will accept free url submissions? Or, is it a situation where I would have to pay to submit to either one of the Search Engines?

Any advice on this would be appreciated...

I don't think voila.fr has free submission.

Also if you look @ wanadoo's homepage, the search seem to be powered by voila so no luck there either

There is a free submission possibility in Voila - it's called Standard submission, but it's so complicated I wouldn't know how to start explaining it in a step by step way...
