Dutch Overture to launch Q3

Overture will be targeting the Dutch market as well, they plan launching in q3 of 2003 and will very probably have a lower minimum bid...though it may well be 0.15 euro.

The deal between Qualigo and Ilse was initially made for one year only...

So following the old dutch flagship of websearch Ilse.nl, partnering with Qualigo [webmasterworld.com], we have the big boys entering the market.

Damian, you seem to suggest Ilse might change over to Overture end of this year?
Where else do you expect Overture listings to pop up? A fairly obvious candidate is Altavista.nl, but that alone won't make it worthwile.

eh..I just heard the one-year tidbit and Overture's plans from a reliable source and thought I'd mention it here.

I'm just speculating here, but possibly pagina.nl which may be as important as Ilse in terms of traffic, and next to altavista they'll most likely have msn.nl and lycos.nl because they work with those companies in the other Europan countries.
Then there's second tier engines such as vindex.nl, and Dutch directories such as 1stekeuze.nl..(cough) ..and some.
