Wanadoo, of Telecom France, sells it's belgian operation to italian based Tiscali group.
Surprisingly Wanadoo doesn't seem to view the neighbor country as being central to it's european strategy.

Wanadoo counts 85.000 active customers including 25.000 ADSL in Belgium.

Pan-european ISP Tiscali has also taken over Spanish rival Airtelnet from Vodafone for £6.5 million. This deal however is only a small step into the spanish market, bringing in 110.000 dial-up users.

Yeah, that's really weird on Wanadoo's part, unless you view it in the light of FrenchTelecom's humongous debt. They have to sponge it up somehow!

Consequence for Belgium: Wanadoo.be that used to display search results from Voila will probably display results from Fast in the short term.

I cannot see that there are results from Voila - on the left hand side there is a searchbox for Google.

Correct. I admit I missed the move. wanadoo.fr is still using voila, I wonder when wanodoo.be switched to Google?
