does Overture DE or Overture FR have their own search inventory tool like the US site does that tracks search terms across its Euro partner portals?

I don't find the overture keyword tool very reliable - it comes up with all kinds of wierd terms.

I find that the most reliable technique is to sign up for a google adwords campaign, and enter in a long list of possible terms, bidding the minimum. A week later, you have good click stats.

You might wanna check Espottings keyword suggestions as well. At least that way you'll have two different sources to "rely" on:

I just noticed that the overture search term suggestion tool can't handle any word that has an accented letter. :(

If you enter any word that has an accent (such as château), it finds absolutely nothing - whether you enter the word with or without accent.

Well, what a coincidence! Just two days after sending them a message, and posting here, the accented-letter bug seems to be *almost* entirely cleared up! :)

For Spanish terms , Overture has now a new suggestion tools

But you will get what they call "predicted search"...
Strange..
I tried on some keywords and I get for some keywords=80 and for others a possible real result.
but many keywords give 80 and they are not sorted!
I don't understand these results.

If anybody knows something on this...

Yep - somewhat buggy for now.
Anyhow, even when they get that fixed I should think it takes some months before the numbers ariive at some accuracy. They very likely start with a thin db and expand with each month of fresh data.

www.keyword-datenbank.de [keyword-datenbank.de] is the german-languaged equivalent to wordtracker.com. Both are pay4use but keyword-datenbank.de has proven useful to me, although the ranking-value of the lower keywords are sometimes unrealistic.

The data for the database comes from a smaller searchengine (tricus.de) that is used by some smaller (meta-)searchengines in germany.

Klaus Schallhorns keyword database provides lists of German and English (uk) keyword combinations.

The free version lists the terms alphabetically. Customers get the terms listed by frequency.

Sadly Klaus Schallhorn deleted all hardcore-related keywords from his database and other controversial (filesharing & co) topics are also deleted from database and I don't know if it is build on a up-to-date database
