Evreka not using LS anymore for theire webdirectory.

They have built theire own, but in some time they will setup up a add url to it, and it propably will work as the other webdirectories with a crew that look at the links and add it if its good.

That's hot news for sure Ove. Thanks for the info.
So, are they hiring editors? ;)

I wonder what the implications could be for the other directories in the SOL Network?

Trying to cash in on submissions? Or what might be the reason?

What i have heard so is it pretty expensive.
I talked to guy there about 6 mounth ago and he told me that they are going to not use LS anymore and thats true they are not use them anymore.

And they said today that they have no plans to get any cash for the new webdirectory. Its so fresh so they dont know yet how it will work.

Of course that`s the reason. In Norway the new ovners of SOL (Scandinavia Online) a Swedish company named Eniro already have turned the financial results completely around from a huge loss in 2001 to a small profit already this year (2002). The reason for that is a price increase of more than 100% on submissions to their directory Kvasir.

I`m convinced the same thing is going to happen in Sweden also sooner or later.
