Lycos .de/ Fireball.de switch to Overture

Lycos, Fireball and Overture partnership

I received an email today with 'firm' dates for the switch of Lycos.de and Fireball.de PPC results changing from Espotting to Overture. This was announced earlier in the year and must have been a major blow for Espotting. They need to announce a major partnership soon or they are going to lose a great deal of PPC market share imo.

The dates are as follows...
Lycos switch: 03.12.02
Fireball switch: 06.12.02

Overture now claim to have coverage on 85% of the German internet market. Espotting have yet to respond in any wirthwhile manner. they need to soon or they are going to become just a fringe PPC provider with Google and Overture being the 'big boys' imo.

Yeah, we had a discussion on that earlier this year. True, no a good thing for Espotting. They were partly compensated by getting airtime on Lycos directory and Lycos channel pages.
Fireball...how's their reach these days? Looking at my logs they are fading quick.
