Hi All,

I have a couple of French pages submitted to Inktomi.

They get a very good listing in search.msn.be and search.msn.com.

For some reason however, they do not show up in search.msn.fr. I still don't know why. Any hint appreciated.

Thanks.

avmgeo, I was hoping some of our french experts would jump in here.
MSN maintains an own directory in France. Submission is free. As far as I know results from this directory get a preferred placement in serps.
Apart from that I think it's plain Ink. What's puzzling is that local MSN sites rank INK results differently.
I can't see a pattern here. It would be an option to assume local targeting, only looking at the serps I don't see that at all.
To complicate matters further MSN France offers addittionally the option to search Nomade.fr. How and why did that happen?

>added: Here's some info on the MSN France directory [webmasterworld.com]. Not sure if it's still up to date.
