Those listings are live now.
While on the directory pages the sponsored listings appear in much the same way as on serps, on the channel pages they look vaguely like ads/adwords.
A problem here is, the fonts are so heavyweighted most of the titles and descriptions is cut off!
So you get listings like:
Widgets from Gr...
buy great widge...
Another interesting aspect is the criteria for which Espotting listings get displayed.
In the directory they are obviously tied to the category titles.
In the channel pages they appear to be rather unfocused. In one important channel I found only two sets of sponsored links for all pages/topics.
