Hi there,

I'm currently researching link popularity and am compiling a list of German search engines which support incoming link analysis (such as LINK:yourdomain.com)

I see lycos.de have the feature with "+ml:" what about the other German engines?

Kind regards

Alan Webb

Hi Alan
all the major engines of course support searching for incoming links. On the Fast powered engines itīs easy enough, on AV you use link:someurlhere, and how it works with Google must not be explained either.
There are some minor engines where you will have to work around it, though.

Interestingly, T-online has a help sheet providing some search syntax that was new to me but works on Alltheweb also. For example link.all:someurlhere

Hi Heini,

yes I'm aware of what AV, Google and Lycos use. I'm mor einterested in the fringe engines like Fireball, Abacho, Acoon etc. I'll have a good look at the appropriate sites. they tend to hide the information some though.

Regards

Alan
