I submitted my site to ODP a long time ago, and it was added promptly. Recently, I noticed my news page ...toxicmolds/news/news.html was added to the ODP directory, but I was surprised to see my index.html page had been dropped.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Hi toxic

Welcome to WmW

Have you tried contacting the editor I think that would be first thing I would do, I can't think of any reason why that would happen

Well, the category was without an editor, I just e-mailed an editor up a couple levels, so we will see what happens.

ok.

Keep us informed how things work out, as we do have a few ODP editors here so they maybe be able to offer some more advice if things don't work out

Hi,

I've traced your site's wandering footsteps. The index.html has been moved to unreviewed in Science: Environment: Air Quality: Indoor Air Quality. Evidently the Science editors felt it wasn't a fit with the category it was in.

Your news page is listed in Science: Environment: News. This is an example of deeplinking for specific information. (BTW, the News editor says nice things about your site.)

The index page will probably get listed again eventually. The Science editors are very precise and often reorganize when they see a better way of doing things.
