I'd be disinclined to use it unless it has official sanction from ODP.

I guess I'm just queasy about giving my logon and password to a third-party site.

ODP editors have many many tools created by editors that other editors may use. :) This looks like one of them.

You have found part of an alternative interface to the editing software that an editor has written and posted. It requires that the editor logs in to ODP first; you are not sending your password to the third party.
