I remember someone saying that on this forum that it is possible to active your LS account without giving them a credit card. I cannot see how to do this. I want to get those 20 'free' months but I don't want to put any gold into a sinking (stinking?) ship (I don't trust them with my credit card).
Anyone know if this is possible?

For most people they already have the credit card details stored. The thing to remember is that they won't charge your card unless you authorise more clicks (in theory).
I am yet to hear of anyone being charged inappropriately if they have not agreed to pay any money.
I *have* heard of people being back charged for clicks once they agree to a limit.

From my understanding you must give credit card details to activate.
