Has anyone ever used [netinsert.com...] before and received any referrals from it.

I have not bothered. This is the one with the special meta-tags and I just cannot see putting up special metas for one directory.

I've submitted to their directory. You won't get a lot of traffic from it or recieve any PR from the link but it's free traffic. Of course, on my site only the NetInsert spider will be fed the special meta tag that they require.

Here's a thread [webmasterworld.com] on netinsert that started a little bit ago. :) I havnt seen any traffic yet but hey you never know when it will bl0w up :)

I think that it has far too few sites listed for any end users to take it seriously. Chicken and egg problem. No users = no submissions = no users
Perhaps they should use an ODP data dump as a backup, with submitted sites getting a position boost.
