I manage around 400 domain names for a company one of our focuses like everyone out there is to get the site listed in DMOZ.org, often it is hard to keep track of them all.

Any suggestions for this keeping track of them?

I have a table that I made with the search engine, date and page. Everytime I submit a page, I document on my table. It's alot of work at first, but it has saved me from duplicating my efforts and irritating the SE. I am also able to go back and check to see if the pages are listed. It works well for me but it may be too cumbersome for some a large site. My site has about 230 pages.

Once upon a time, they used 'spreadsheets'. I think the flavor was Excel, though if you don't like Microsoft, then choose your own :) (in my previous life, people were using these).

Other than that, you could pick up a perl spider, run through all the links on DMOZ, and then if the domains you are working on are there, spit the results to a file.

If you get to be really slick, you could put it on a schedule and do all sorts of stuff :) Email yourself, log it to a database, or all of the above.
