I just had a site removed from the ODP that was a cookie cutter fit for it's category. Since the category has no editor, the only option I can see is having a meta editor review the decision. Thanks in advance.

Ummm... what about the editor one category level up from the editor-less category in question? That's the way the chain of command works there, right?

I wouldn't know- I'm not an ODP editor.

I'll give it a try though.

That's what I've always heard around here... If your category editor isn't responding (or doesn't exist), go one level up and try again... If one level up doesn't work, wait a couple months and try again. If it still doesn't work, try going one MORE level up, etc.

Good luck!

Well, it's not exactly a chain of command, but editors listed in a parent category can indeed edit in the sibling categories too. If you don't find anyone who can answer your questions that way, the list of those editors who can edit all over the directory can be found here [dmoz.org] (not all of them are metas).

Other than that, you could ask one of the ODP-editing regulars here to have a look at it, be it only for a sanity check. Sometimes the concepts of "cookie cutter fit" diverge to a certain degree between editors and non-editors... ;)
