This message is at the end of my ODP description

I joined ODP, but the editor said after the description of my site:

"Note: May not support some browsers."

My site is fully compatible with IE4,5,6, NS6 and Opera 5 & 6 (i've tested it).

What's the problem with it ? :-)

And how can I change my category (i found one more apropriate)

Try Netscape Communicator 4.73. It's a blank page.

It may not work in the editors 1988 browser :) I would not worry about it, you did get listed, consider yourself lucky. Is it the site in your profile, if so I'll look at it in NN 4.7, NN 3.

I would. I can't see the site in NS4.7, which correct me if I'm wrong, still represents a significant share of the browser market.

dapyx check your Stickymail (link at top of screen that says 'Stickymail'!) I think I sorted it.

I hadn't noticed that yet, yes I would make sure it works in NN 4.

Here's a fairly recent survey (not covering all the possibilities, though) which reflects the responses of a group of the busiest editors at ODP. You'll see that in this case IE was barely the winner with a plurality of votes. Over half of these editors don't use IE as a primary browser.

Interesting kctipton, for my most "general public" site, I get 83% IE, 13% NN, 4% other. How about talking those ODP folks into upgrading to Opera6!

looking at current browser stats is a red herring...things are changing fast...and even if they were static the stats are highly dubious

concentrate on being generally accessible and use proprietary code ONLY for add ons, then there is no need to worry

that's about 6% of my traffic !

The NS 4 doesn't work on my Windows 2k system. (in w98 it worked), and i've tested only NS 6.

I agree that statistics change, but thought you might want to see that IE is (was) not an overwhelming favorite for a sampling of editors. I personally find that NS displays pages much faster than IE, so I use NS as much as possible for that reason.

NN 4.08 running w2k - Blank page. Navigator has never been as forgiving as MSIE.

I ran your page thru the w3c validator, then thru html tidy on my computer.

you have a </p> on line 43, with no <p>. Try using a <br> here.

It also didn't like the </center> on line 87. (</div> should take care of that)

These are the major structural errors that I found. I'll bet your problem is one of those.
